Stadium is seeking Parttime Studio Technicians to join our Studio Operations team.  This position will be responsible for ensuring the vision and execution of daily studio shows is carried through each broadcast. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities generally associated with position of Studio Technician, including, general production support of all studio positions and leads.
  • Position will train and perform, when approved, in various areas including, but not limited to Camera Op, Floor Director, A2, Lighting tech.
  • Train as requested in other studio positions.
  • Position requires flexibility and fluidity between positions, with daily assignments to be determined by need.
  • As a camera operator, demonstrate proficiency and execute the physical visual capture for live and recorded broadcast presentation of daily programming both in-studio and as needed, on location.
  • Work in collaboration with Producers and Directors to execute overall programming strategy.
  • As a Floor Director, execute responsibilities generally associated with that position including managing the overall workflow on the set.
  • As A2, learn and execute basic operation of audio equipment.  Assist A1 with audio related needs.
  • Assist, as needed, with other areas of studio production
  • Maintain a professional approach and demeanor at all times, including interaction with crew, talent and guests.
  • Help create a positive team-oriented atmosphere among the crew.

Experience & Skills Required

  • General tech production and/or studio experience, including camera operating preferred.
  • Strong interest and knowledge of pro and college sports required.
  • High School or GED equivalent required.
  • Bachelor Degree related in Digital Media, Broadcasting and Technical Broadcasting preferred.
  • One to two years of experience working in a live studio broadcasting environment.
  • Must be flexible with schedule to work either morning or evening shifts as well as weekends.
