Job Summary

Our Chicago-based television and digital video network, Stadium, is seeking Associate Producers to assist in creating industry-leading made-for-digital video programs covering all professional and college sports for distribution on mobile, online and other digital platforms. Associate Producers will work with Producers and the production team to create engaging daily programming.

Major Responsibilities/Activities

  • 2-3+ years experience in professional video production having mastered all skills required of a Production Assistant
  • Script writing for taped and live programming
  • Mentor Production Assistants
  • Identify Production Assistants strengths and assign daily workload accordingly
  • Footage collection, storage and organization
  • Footage, photo rights management
  • Working with editors on post-production including graphic design and creation
  • Ability to create graphics and implement them in shows
  • Social media interaction and integration into program formats
  • Research and story development
  • Logging and creating highlight shot-sheets
  • Strong understanding of the sports landscape

Minimum Requirements

  • Production skills, creating original video for digital platforms preferred
  • Excellent communicator
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of all sports a must
  • Computer skills including basic Microsoft Office programs
  • Results-oriented and driven by challenges
  • Self-motivated, yet a team player who can work equally well individually as part of a team
  • Hard working, willing to work varied and sometimes long hours and weekends
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work under time-sensitive deadlines

Working Environment

Physical/mental demands of the position (i.e., lifting up to 20 pounds of camera equipment, bending/stooping/kneeling to set up production studio, etc)

Stadium is a new, fully programmed, 24/7 multi-platform sports network that brings together exclusive live game and event coverage, extensive highlights, classic games, original programming, and daily live studio programming. Stadium includes a 24/7 linear feed distributed across both digital and broadcast platforms, as well as a comprehensive array of on demand content including additional live events and VOD highlights accessible via owned and operated STADIUM platforms and select distribution partners.

Stadium was formed when Campus Insiders, 120 Sports and The American Sports Network combined forces to take advantage of a combined collection of professional and collegiate rights and unique access to both digital and television distribution opportunities. STADIUM is owned by a collection of industry leaders including Silver Chalice, Sinclair, MLBAM, the NHL, the PGA TOUR, and Time, Inc. and will launch later this Summer 2017.
