Live Streaming Production Assistant

Overview:

Stadium is seeking a Production Assistant to help in preparation, execution and oversight of college sports streaming productions, as well as the creation of video-on-demand and promotional materials for college sports conferences and member-institutions. The Production Assistant will work under the direction of the Senior Vice President of Properties.

Experience / Responsibilities:

  • Education and experience in professional video production situations
  • Experience with live video streaming and webcasting
  • Understanding of live game production elements and requirements
  • Assist with monitoring and coordination of over 3,000 live sporting events annually
  • Social media interaction and integration into program formats
  • Knowledge of video encoding and delivery to digital platforms (i.e., SnappyTV, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Schedule and manage event creation in a Content Management System
  • Mid-week and game day communication to our conference partners
  • Perform duties as live remote coordinator for OTT and television broadcasts

Skills & Traits:

  • Knowledge of web streaming protocols and vendors
  • Excellent communicator
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of college sports a must
  • Computer skills including basic Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience using Photoshop or other graphic design programs
  • Driven by challenges and committed to seeing projects and tasks through to completion
  • Self-motivated, yet a team player who can work well under supervision as part of a team
  • Hard working, willing to work varied and sometimes long hours including nights and weekends
